Das PDF-Magazin REV'n'GE ("Retro Emulator Vision and Game") liegt neben dem italienischen Original auch in englischer Übersetzung vor. Die Spiele-Reviews der REV'n'GE vergleichen, wo verfügbar, die Umsetzungen von Klassikern zwischen unterschiedlichen damaligen Plattformen. Zudem wird versucht, auch weniger bekannte Retrospiele herauszusuchen.

Ausgabe des Scene-World-Podcasts sprechen Jörg Dröge und Arthur Heller mit Alex Brown, Programmierer im Team, das am Spiel "Metro Siege" arbeitet, welches letztlich auf einem unaufgerüsteten Amiga 500 laufen und online mit mehreren Spielern gespielt werden können soll - die Demoversion allerdings setzt bislang mindestens 1 MB RAM voraus. Plattformer: Collectors Edition von Electro Man
Anfang Dezember letzten Jahres hatte Paweł 'tukinem' Tukatsch seinen Amiga-Port des ursprünglich 1992 von den polnischen Programmierern Maciej Miasik und Janusz Pelc für MS-DOS veröffentlichten Spiels Electro Man für AGA-Amigas veröffentlicht (amiga-news.de berichtete). Nun kann das Spiel als Collectors Edition beim polnischen Shop Retronics erworben werden. Für 38 Euro (plus Versand) erhält man einen Schuber mit zwei 3,5"-Disketten, eine auf eine Leinwand gedruckte Karte der Levels und ein Handbuch. (dr)

Chat-Software: AmigaGPT V1.6.2 für AmigaOS 3 und 4 (Update)
Cameron Armstrong hat mit AmigaGPT ein Chatprogramm geschrieben, das die Leistungsfähigkeit des Chatbots ChatGPT nutzt (amiga-news.de berichtete). Ursprünglich geschrieben für AmigaOS 3.2, unterstützt das Programm mittlerweile auch AmigaOS 3.9, Cloantos Workbench 3.X und AmigaOS 4.1. Die Änderungen der Version 1.6.1:
- Default to speech disabled
- Fix crash when trying to close speech system when it failed to initialise

Heute wurde die Version 1.6.2 nachgeschoben, die die maximalen OpenAI-API-Schlüsselgröße auf 256 Zeichen erhöht.

Open-Source-Projekt: IDE-Treiber lide.device 40.8
Das Open-Source-Projekt lide.device stellt einen neuen IDE-Treiber für den Amiga zur Verfügung, der einige Verbesserungen bietet (amiga-news.de berichtete). Nun wurde die Version 40.8 veröffentlicht:
- Bug fixes
- Performance improvements
- Speed up initialization on 68000 systems
- Lideflash improvements - prompt the user before doing anything & reboot if necessary
