Swedish magazine: Amiga Forum
For the first time since seven years in Sweden there is a magazine about Amiga again: "Amiga Forum" with 28 pages can be purchased for 39 SEK (about 4,55 Euro, incl. shipping) at the Swedish User Group of Amiga.

NetBSD: G-REX support improved
The GRex-driver for the Amiga-ports of NetBSD which has been introduced at the beginning of this year was improved and now supports all PCI-slots which are available on the board. It has been tested with a Voodo 3 as well as NE 2000-based network boards. Bus Master DMA still is not supported.

Hollywood Player 5.1 for Android released
Press release: Airsoft Softwair is proud to announce that Hollywood is now also available for Android devices (ARM architecture). This makes it possible for the first time for every Hollywood user to run his Hollywood applets on smart phones and tablet computers running Android. Everything you need is the Hollywood Player for Android which is now available as a free download on Google Play. To see what Hollywood on Android looks like check out a little demo video on YouTube.
Please note that the Hollywood Player for Android requires at least Android 2.3. To get your own Hollywood project onto your Android device, simply compile it as a Hollywood applet (*.hwa) from the Hollywood GUI or Hollywood Designer and then copy it into a directory named "Hollywood" on the SD card of your Android device. Then you can easily run it using the Hollywood Player!
Featurewise the Hollywood Player for Android is pretty identical to the desktop version of Hollywood, plugins and videos are fully supported. Due to security reasons, however, certain functionality like starting external programs is currently disabled. You can find a complete list of differences between the desktop and mobile versions of Hollywood in the release notes in the Hollywood forums. Please note that the Hollywood Player for Android is a WIP snapshot from the current development version of Hollywood 5.1 which has not been released yet and is still a work-in-progress.
Due to the multitude of Android devices and the often scarcely documented native development interface of Android, it can happen that this app does not run on your Android device. If that is the case, please let us know in the Hollywood forums or via email.

Amiga 500 plays complete movies from harddrive
With the help of the converter AVI4HV video files can be converted into formats which can be played with a Amiga 500 (288x200 HAM6, 8Bit 11KHz Stereo) or Amiga 1200 (320x216). 1,5 MB RAM as well as a hraddrive are required.
Complete movies just like "Apocalypse Now" under the title link have to be divided into two files due to the limitations under AmigaOS. A short article about the topic also can be find in current issue of the PDF-magazine Lotek.

AmigaOS 4: RadeonHD driver 0.49 for Sam460 and AmigaOne 500/X1000
A-Eon has published the latest version of the RadeonHD driver for Sam460 and AmigaOne 500/X1000. Changes from the previous version are presently unknown.
Users of an AmigaOne X1000 or of an AmigaOne 500 ordered from ACube can get the driver for free. They should have been informed via eMail about a download link.

ACube Systems: New batch of Sam440ep-flex with discounted prices
After a longer beak ACube Systems offers Sam440ep-flex motherboards. The boards only will be available for a limited time and cost 270 (667 Mhz) and 310 Euro (plus taxes, shipping and AmigaOS 4) - three years ago 733 Mhz did cost 410 Euro.
The new edition has a new version of the firmware UBoot which makes it possible to boot PATA mass storages which are connected to a VIA VT6421-controler. This Uboot update will be available for all Sam440ep-flex users during the next days.

MorphOS: Scube 1.1
Michal 'kiero' Wozniak's Scube shows the currently opened screens as sides of a dice. With the mouse or the keyboard the dice is rotated and a screen chosen. In version 1.1 the provisional solutions concerning the missing OpenGL-implementation in MorphOS 2.x were deleted.

MorphOS 3.1 published
Press release: The MorphOS development team is proud to announce the public release of MorphOS 3.1, which offers various enhancements and bug fixes. For an overview of the included changes, please read our release notes.
We strongly urge new users to carefully read our installation and troubleshoot guides before they attempt to install MorphOS for the first time. X1000: User blog
In his blog AmigaOne user "Epsilon" has published his experiences with A-Eon's PPC-hardware and the operating system AmigaOS 4.1. Update of Turrican-clone Hurrican (AmigaOS 4/MorphOS)
Hugues "HunoPPC" Nouvel and "SixK" have published an update of the Turrican-clone Hurrican for AmigaOS 4 and MorphOS. On AmigaOS 4 computers without hardware-3D-support now the game works with Wazp3D. An user has made available a Wazp3D-configuration file.
Changes:
- New icons for levels by TommySammy
- Fixed an allocation error of HunoJoyWrapper / Keymap (thanks to SixK)
- Adding new commandlines for levelsPacks:
