Instant-Messenger: GUI development for STRICQ V2
On ANN Douglas F. McLaughlin wrote, that he started development of STRICQ v2. In this version the GUI will be completely independent from the rest of the program. This allows STRICQ v2 to be equipped with different GUI's. People interested in developing a GUI (MUI or other) for STRICQ v2 can mail to Douglas F. McLaughlin for closer discussions about the implementation.

There will be a SDK for GUI developers. (sd)

c't newspart: 'Mac OS 9 on the AMIGA'
The AMIGA is making headlines once again in the current print issue of the c't (German computer magazine), page 39:
»Already for years is the AMIGA for some fans the better Macintosh. Now the MacOS versions 8.5 to 9.1 and therefore PowerPC native programs, too, can be used on the computer - with iFusion. The British distributor Blittersoft sells the emulator for 430 Mark via the internet (www.blittersoft.com). The software is said to support up to 2 GByte RAM, disk drives, harddisks and CD-ROMs. Requirements for the use is according to Blittersoft an AMIGA computer with a PPC board, 32 MByte RAM and Cybergraphics version 4. (adb)«

This headline shows very exactly that the interest in the AMIGA is also depending on the really existing (and not only announced) products. (ps)
