`31.Aug.2012` (ANF)	Janus - Javascript-based Amiga emulator Rupert Hausberger's Janus is an Amiga emulator written in Javascript which should work in each modern web-browser. The source code has about 13000 lines of code. Half of it was taken from UAE. A fast computer, ADF or Kickstart files, a browser wit HTML 5 support, WebGL, WebAudio, DOMParser, FileReader and Typed arrays are required. The Readme currently warns of diverse existing compatibility problems but some games already work - e.g. Alien Breed, Another World or Turrican 1/2. According to the author he will not have time during the next months to develop the project further. `20.Aug.2012` Olaf Schönweiß (ANF)	AROS: 68k-Distribution AROS Vision 1.5.3 Olaf Schönweiß has updated his AROS/68k-distribution. It is a mix of AROS and AmigaOS software (English tutorial). Version 1.5.3 includes an unregistered version of WHDLoad. Real Amiga-Kickstart-ROMs must be installed by the user. With this solution games can be played which currently do not work with the AROS Kickstart Replacement - the author mentioned "Defender of the Crown" as an example.
