`10.Jan.2023` Twitter	Game Soundtrack: Albums "The Holocube" and "Time Travellers" released Génération Delphine is a project to honor the game soundtracks of the French software company Delphine Software International by releasing albums of the restored tracks (amiga-news.de reported). Originally a first album should be released in November 2021, but now two albums has been released at the same time: "The Holocube" is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the game Flashback and can be obtained for free from Bandcamp. The second album "Time Travellers" is a tribute to the game Future Wars and can be bought for 7 Euros or more. The physical version is already sold out. (dr) [News message: 10. `09.Jan.2023`	Editor: MUI-Vim V9.0.1158 for AmigaOS4 and MorphOS MUI-Vim is a port of the editor Vim. This editor is intended for editing programs as well as plain text files. Multi-level undo, syntax highlighting, command line history, block operations and scripting are some of the features. Ola 'sodero' Söder has now ported version 9.0.1158 of VIM and released it for AmigaOS4 and MorphOS. He has also updated syntax highlighting for Hollywood 9.1. (dr) [News message: 09. `09.Jan.2023` Chris Young (Mail)	AmigaGuide to HTML converter: GuideML 3.17 for AmigaOS 3/4 GuideML is an AmigaGuide to HTML converter which can convert most AmigaGuides and since v3.1 also has a GUI (amiga-news.de reported). The tool was originally written by Richard Körber and now is available in version 3.17. Changes: Add basic support for \ at {system command with openurl command. Add colour theme management with new light and dark colour themes in addition to the default AmigaGuide compatible one. The command line version now requires OS2.1 (but no longer tested by the author) while the GUI version at least requires AmigaOS 3.2. The archive includes also a version for AmigaOS 4. `09.Jan.2023` Amigans-Forum	AmigaOS 4: Version 6.10 of audio driver for Intel HD Audio The AHI driver for AmigaOS 4 written by Harald Kanning supports PCIe cards with sound chips that meet the HD Audio specification (amiga-news.de reported). The archive also contains a simple "mixer" which can be used to control the volume. Now the developer has released an update to version 6.10 with the following changes: Added Mixer option to limit Recording resolution to 16bit. This is required for programs which do not work with larger recording resolutions (eg. HD-Rec and AE4) Added additional Tooltypes for the Docky to position the docky window manually AmigaOS 4.1 FE Update 2 (the author has not tested it under previous versions) and AHI 6.6 are required. `08.Jan.2023`	AmigaOS 4: SMB2 handler smb2fs V53.3 The Server Message Block (SMB) is a network protocol for file, print and other server services in computer networks and allows access to files and directories located on another computer (Wikipedia entry). Fredrik Wikstrom's SMB2 handler is based on libsmb2 and allows remote access to files via the SMB2/3 protocols (amiga-news.de reported). Version 53.3, released a few momentsa go, includes the following changes: Added a workaround for smb2_rmdir() not returning an error when trying to delete a non-empty directory. Added support for READONLY switch. If the reported f_blocks is larger than INT32_MAX statfs() will reduce it and compensate by making the block size larger (that way at least programs that use the id_NumBlocks, id_NumBlocksUsed and id_BytesPerBlock fields to calculate used and free percentages will report reasonable results). The newlib.library V53.40 or newer (or V53.30, included in AmigaOS 4.1 FE) and the filesysbox.library V54.4 or newer are required. (dr) [News message: 08. It is available for download at the title link. With the XLSX plugin for Hollywood you can easily load, modify and save Excel spreadsheets with Hollywood. `08.Jan.2023`	Point'n Click adventure: NEONnoir V1.1.1 The English point'n click adventure game "NEONnoir" (video) was developed with AmiBlitz for the Amiga Blitz Basic Game Jam. As a down-and-out private detective, the player has to track down a drug-addicted daughter from a good family (amiga-news.de reported). Now the developer has released a new version with some bug fixes.
