Video: controlling a Minimig from MorphOS
As announced at Morph.zone three years ago, Anders Granlund has connected a Minimig to his MorphOS computer that enables him to run Amiga games on the Minimig by double-clicking them on Ambient. Keyboard, mouse and joystick input is also forwarded to the FPGA Amiga. (snx) (Translation: cg)

Puzzle game: G.E.M.Z. 2.1
Fabio Falcucci's G.E.M.Z. is a commercial puzzler for all Amiga systems, where blocks with the same colour have to be positioned next to each other to make them disappear. New in version 2.1 are additional animations and the possibility to modify the game by editing text based configuration files. The sound files are now a separate download, the game will retrieve them when ran for the first time. (snx) (Translation: cg)

AmigaOS 4: File manager Dir Me Up 3.02
Jérôme 'Glames' Senays' commercial file manager "Dir Me Up" among others offers browsing history and preview images or thumbnails. In version 3.02 no longer names of drives are limited to three characters and the Swedish and German translation have been completed.

AROS: July 2016 Highlights
Based on his weekly news on the progresses of the operating system AROS, Krzysztof 'deadwood' Śmiechowicz writes monthly summaries as well.

In July several minor bug fixes and improvements provided by different developers (among others Neil Cafferkey, Krzysztof Śmiechowicz, Matthias Rustler and Stefan Haubenthal) were done - e.g. the native GCC now finds the SDK paths.

Stefan Egger ("computer collection vienna") has bought an "Amiga 3400", which is a preproduction series of a computer, later sold as Amiga 4000. His working computer and the difference to the later preproduction series he presents on his website. Preview video: Shooter "AlarCity"
AlarCity is supposed to become a fast shooter scrolling in eight directions. Ports for Amiga (AGA), Windows and MacOS are planned. Already in June a video was released which shows an early version of the engine running on an (emulated) CD32. (cg) (Translation: dr)
