Doch alles nur Gerüchte
Regarding the rumors posted yesterday from Mac the Knife, a
helpful reader decided to set us straight: "I thought you may like
to know that the information you have posted from Mac The Knife is
actualy a practical joke some Amiga users have played on Mac The
Knife. (The real Amiga is FAR more powerful than anything Mac The
Knife could make up). If Mac The Knife had bothered to do some
research they would know there is no AmigaOS4 but AmigaOS3.5 for
Classic machines and OS5Dev/OS5 from Development/Next generation
Machines. None of these use the PPC chip, with the exception of a
classic Amiga fittied with a PPC add-on CPU.
There, however, is a rumor floating round about a 2xG3 Amiga clone
machine made by a 3rd party (as Amiga alows cloning unlike Apple).
This may be what Mac The Knife is refering to, but at the moment,
is nothing more than a rumor. (ps)
