VNC-Client: TwinVNC 0.8beta
Bereits am 9. April wurde die Betaversion 0.8 von TwinVNC fertiggestellt, einem Giftware-Client für das Virtual Network Computing-Protokoll.
Zur Verfügung stehen Versionen für AmigaOS 3.1, AmigaOS 4 und MorphOS, eine Liste der Änderungen finden Sie unter dem Titellink. (snx)

Stockholm: Medley klassischer Spiele-Musik
Am 2. Juni 2007 feiert ein Commodore Amiga-Medley in Stockholm Premiere. Hierfür wurde von Jan Zottmann die Musik einiger Spieleklassiker für Orchester und Chöre arrangiert. Weitere im Rahmen des "Play!"-Konzerts erfolgende Darbietungen beinhalten u.a. auch ein C64-Medley.
Das Commodore Amiga-Medley beinhaltet Kompositionen von Allister Brimble (Alienbreed), Richard Joseph (James Pond 2), Olof Gustafsson (Pinball Fantasies), Matthias Steinwachs (Lionheart), Brian Johnston und Tim Wright (Lemmings) sowie Chris Huelsbeck (Turrican 2). (snx)

Amiga Inc.: Klassische Amiga-Spiele von Vulcan Software für Windows
Unter dem Titellink kündigt Amiga Inc. einen nicht näher definierten "Classic Game Player" an, mittels dessen man Amiga-Klassiker für Windows-PCs und andere Geräte anbieten will. Den Auftakt bilden hierbei diverse Spiele des britischen Unternehmens Vulcan Software.

Issaquah, Wash USA – Gloucestershire, UK – May 23, 2007 – Vulcan Software Limited and Amiga, Inc. are pleased to announce the launch and availability of Vulcan Software titles for Windows PCs via the new Amiga Classic Game Player.
"The new Amiga offering makes playing these very fun titles simple. Just click and you are playing. It is great to be working with Amiga again, and our relationship will be growing into other areas as well", said Paul Carrington President of Vulcan Software Limited.
With the new Amiga Classic Game Player customers need only to select the game they want to play, download it to their computer, install, click and play. It is seamless fun, and reminds everyone of why we started using computers for gaming to begin with.

ACube Systems: Portierung von CRUX PPC angekündigt
Wie ACube Systems unter dem Titellink bekanntgibt, arbeite man mit dem CRUX Linux PPC-Team zusammen, um dessen Distribution an das Sam440ep-Board anzupassen. Hierfür werde dem Team ein Board zur Verfügung gestellt. (snx)
