Amiga Inc. registriert neue Marken in Deutschland
Amiga Incorporated hat im vergangen Jahr beim Deutschen Patent- und Markenamt zwei neue Marken registriert: zum einen die Wortmarke AMIGA ENABLED (veröffentlicht am 15. Dezember 2006, Registernummer 30653991.8), zum anderen die Wortmarke AMIGA ANYWHERE (22.12.2006, 30653845.8).
Beide Marken wurden am 31. August durch die Frankfurter Rechtsanwaltskanzlei Heuking, Kühn, Lüer & Wojtek beantragt.
Übernommen wurden im vergangenen Jahr zudem folgende Markenrechte von der Gateway-Tochter Amiga Development LLC:

ACube Systems: Firmen-Webseite / STFax 2007 / Reparatur-Service
Acube Systems, eine gemeinsame Tochterfirma der drei italienischen Händler Alternative Holding Group, Soft 3 und Virtual Works, präsentiert sich unter dem Titellink nun mit eigener Webseite.
Darüber hinaus wird die Entwicklung von STFax 2007 bekannt gegeben. Demnach habe man eine Vereinbarung mit dem STFax-Entwickler Simone Tellini getroffen, die Arbeit an diesem Programm wiederaufzunehmen und es in zwei Versionen (Professional/Server) für Windows, Mac OS und AmigaOS 4 anzubieten.
Des weiteren will man Besitzern von AmigaOne- bzw. Teron-Boards einen Reparatur-Service für defekte G4-Prozessormodule anbieten. Diese würden dann wahlweise mit einem 7455 @ 1 GHz (256 Kb 2nd-Level-Cache), 7457 @ 1 GHz (512 Kb) oder 7457 @ 1.267 GHz (512 Kb) bestückt.
Ob auch ein Reparatur-Service für G3-Module angeboten werde, hänge von einer ausreichenden Nachfrage ab.
Weitere Neuigkeiten bezüglich des PowerPC-Boards Sam440ep sowie weiterer Projekte sollen bald folgen. (snx)
