X500-Gehäuse: Boingball- und Schmetterlingstasten (Update)
Für sein Retrogehäuse X500 (amiga-news.de berichtete) bietet Loriano 'TheDaddy' Pagni nun auch Austauschtasten an. Diese sind farbig mit über 300 dpi bedruckt und zeigen entweder den Boingball oder aber den MorphOS-Schmetterling Morpho menelaus (Foto).

Die Tasten sind, wie in einem aktuellen Kommentar deutlich wurde, für eine neue Variante des X500-Gehäuses namens X500 Evo (anstatt des X500 Plus). Verwendet wurde demnach offenbar eine Ducky-Zero-Tastatur, so dass die Tasten auf solche und nach Mutmaßung Pagnis wohl auch andere mechanische Tastaturen - wie die Fabrikate Filco oder Das Keyboard - gesteckt werden können. AmigaOS 4: Audio-Player AmigaAMP 3.14
Die zuletzt veröffentlichte Version von AmigaAMP hatte noch kleinere Fehler im Umgang mit Playlisten, weswegen Thomas Wenzel nochmal ein Update veröffentlicht:
- PLS und M3U Laderoutinen komplett überarbeitet
- Headerlose Playlisten können als einzelne Dateien über CLI
- Dateirequester oder Drag&Drop geladen werden
- Italienische Übersetzung aktualisiert
- Info Fenster Position wird jetzt korrekt gespeichert

Tracker: DigiBooster 3 für AmigaOS 3/4 und MorphOS
DigiBooster 3 wurde heute für AmighaOS 3/4 und MorphOS veröffentlicht, und ist bei APC&TCP auf CD oder als Download-Version erhältlich:
Pressemitteilung: DigiBooster 3 vereint die traditionelle Art des Musik machens mittels Tracker mit einer fortschrittlichen Audio-Engine und einer modernen MUI-Oberfläche. Es ist vollständig zu seinem Vorgänger DigiBooster Pro 2 kompatibel. Das Programm wurde jedoch von Grund auf neu entwickelt.
Das neue modulare Design ermöglicht die rasche Weiterentwicklung für die Zukunft. Neben einer Version für Classic-Amigas, wurden auch Versionen für PowerPC-Prozessoren compiliert, um die Vorteile der höheren Rechenleistung ausnutzen zu können.
Merkmale:
- HQ-Audio-Engine mit 24 bit und bis zu 192 kHz
- abwärts kompatibel zu DigiBooster Pro 2.x
- MUI-Oberfläche mit automatischer Anpassung an die Bildschirmgröße
- Abspielroutine ist OpenSource, sowie portabel auf Nicht-Amiga-Systeme
- alle Soundeffekte werden ebenso im Einzelschrittmodus ausgeführt
- Automatische Synchronisation des Module-Tempos
- umfangreiche Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten
- ein umfangreicher ARexx-Port ermöglicht die volle Kontrolle über das Programm mittels Scripts
System-Anforderungen AmigaOS 3:
- Minimum: 68020, Festplatte, 8 MB Fast RAM, Workbench 3.0, MUI 3.8, AHI 4, 640 x 480 Auflösung.
- Empfohlen: AmigaOS 3.x, 68060/50 MHz, Festplatte, 16 MB Fast RAM, Grafikkarte, Soundkarte. Unterstützt: WinUAE (JIT enabled) mit Picasso96 und AHI.
System-Anforderungen AmigaOS 4:
- Minimum: AmigaOS 4.0, Festplatte, MUI 3.9, 128 MB RAM.
- Unterstützt: AHI-kompatible Soundkarte, +500 MHz Prozessor.
System-Anforderungen MorphOS:
- Minimum: MorphOS 2.7, Festplatte, 128 MB RAM.
- Unterstützt: AHI-kompatible Soundkarte, +500 MHz Prozessor.

WHDLoad: Neue Pakete bis 01.02.2014
Mit WHDLoad können Spiele, Szene-Demos und Intros von Cracker-Gruppen, die nur für den Diskettenbetrieb gedacht waren, auf der Festplatte installiert werden. Die folgenden Installationspakete wurden bis zum 01.02.2014 hinzugefügt:

Linux: Kernel 3.13.1 für Sam440ep und AmigaOne X1000
Der Linux-Kernel 3.13.1 liegt nun für den AmigaOne X1000 und das Sam440ep Flex vor. Neu sind das TUN/TAP-Kernelmodul für die Netzwerknutzung durch AROS (hosted) auf dem X1000 und die Beseitigung der Probleme mit ATI-Radeon-92xx-Karten beim Sam-Board.
