WHDLoad: Neue Pakete bis 07.12.2013
Mit WHDLoad können Spiele, Szene-Demos und Intros von Cracker-Gruppen, die nur für den Diskettenbetrieb gedacht waren, auf der Festplatte installiert werden. Die folgenden Installationspakete wurden bis zum 07.12.2013 hinzugefügt:
- 2013-12-07 fixed: Hybris (Discovery Software) diskimage will not be created while the installation process, CUSTOM3=1 added to skip BLITWAIT fix (Info)

Unter dem Titellink kündigt Elbox für den Februar eine neue 68030-Turbokarte mit 40 MHz und integriertem FastATA-CF/SATA-Controller für den Amiga 500/500+ sowie 2000 an. Es handelt sich dabei um eine interne Lösung für 240 Euro (zzgl. Mwst.), die auf dem Prozessorsockel aufsetzt.

Amigakit kündigt neuen Amiga-Joystick an
Amigakit kündigt einen neuen Amiga-Joystick an, den man in den letzten sechs Monate entwickelt habe. Der Schaft des Steuerknüppels im Arcade-Stil ist aus Metall, als Kontakte werden Mikroschalter verwendet:
Der Joystick hat zwei unabhängig operierende Feuerknöpfe, die jedoch auf Wunsch auch beide als Standard-Knopf agieren können. Angaben zum Gehäuse oder zum anvisierten Preis liegen derzeit noch nicht vor, laut Amigakit werde man "in den nächsten Wochen" Bestellungen für das Gerät entgegen nehmen. (cg)

Der bekannte Amiga-Emulator WinUAE liegt jetzt in der Version 2.7.0 vor. Das Update bietet unter anderem Emulationsverbesserungen bei den Grafikkarten, dem 68020-Prozessor und den Custom Chips.

- Use graphics board in emulated Amix, Linux, NetBSD and others

2.6.x bugs fixed:
- Some OFS formatted hardfiles didn't mount
- Wired XBox 360 pad (possibly others) missed input events
Other bugs fixed:
- All Input panel events stopped working in some situations
- RTG mode video recording display size fixed
- Same game controller was inserted in both joystick ports if
loaded config file had non-existing controller in second port
- Built-in LZX decompressor didn't always decompress last byte of file
- CD CUE file parsing fix, some images had incorrect CD audio timing
- Output panel crashed on some systems
- Crash when system was reset if it caused immediate PAL/NTSC mode change
