`16.Jun.2025`	Hintergrund: cURL unterstützt weiterhin AmiSSL Daniel Stenberg, Initiator und Hauptentwickler von cURL, einem Kommandozeilentool für die Übertragung von Daten mit URLs, berichtete in einem aktuellen Blogeintrag darüber, dass das cURL-Projekt eine lange Tradition habe, eine Reihe verschiedener Bibliotheken von Drittanbietern zu unterstützen: bis Mai 2025 wurden so dreizehn verschiedene TLS-Bibliotheken unterstützt. Da eine große Anzahl dieser Bibliothelen unterstützt wird, könne man nun die Messlatte höher legen und die Anforderungen an sie schrittweise erhöhen. Die aktuelle TLS-Version 1.3 wurde bereits im August 2018 eingeführt. Somit werden zukünftig von cURL nur noch TLS-Bibliotheken unterstützt, die den aktuellen Standard TLS 1.3 (in ihren modernen Versionen) verwenden. Aus der Liste der unterstützten Backends scheiden damit "BearSSL" und "Secure Transport" aus, weiterhin unterstützt dagegen wird unter anderem das für Amiga-Computer gepflegte Verschlüsselungsprotokoll AmiSSL (amiga-news.de berichtete). `16.Jun.2025` PyDPainter	Bildeditor: PyDPainter 2.2.0 für Windows, macOS und Linux (Update) Der Bildeditor PyDPainter ist inspiriert von DPaint und laut dessen Autor Mark Riale der Versuch, mittels PyGame ein brauchbares Pixelkunstprogramm in Python zu erstellen, das mit niedrigen Auflösungen und begrenzten Farbpaletten umgehen und möglichst einfach bedient werden kann (amiga-news.de berichtete). Die Version 2.2.0 führt "Brush Trails" für Pinselrotation und -skalierung ein (Video), bietet verbesserte Mac-Unterstützung, das Einfügen aus der Zwischenablage im Textwerkzeug und Tutorials. Die Änderungen: Brush Trails (formerly "Spacing"): The "Spacing" requestor has been renamed to Brush Trails. It is a rethinking of DPaint III Move requestor which allows you rotate and scale brushes along a path along with "ease-in/out" options. Brush Rotation and Scaling: You now rotate brushes with the 9 and 0 keys along with the - and = (or +) keys that scale while you are painting. Also, the mouse wheel now scales built-in brushes when used on the toolbar. Brush Type/Size Indicator: A new on-screen indicator helps you visualize your current brush type, rotation, and size. Native File Dialogs: A new Prefs option allows you to use the OS file dialogs. Signed Windows EXE: The Windows executable is now signed so that antivirus programs don't delete it. Improved Mac Support: Added a native Mac ARM binary .app for download. The Command key also works like CTRL for menu shortcuts and the menus have the Command symbol in them as well. Clipboard Paste Support: You can now paste text directly into the text tool. Click Menus: In addition to the click/release menu mode, they also work in a click/click mode to make it easier to use with laptops. Nun zeigt er in einem neuen Vorschau-Video den aktuellen Stand seines Spiels, das auf einem Amiga 500 laufen soll und 100 Levels, 64-farbige Hintergrundgrafiken und einen komfortablen Level-Editor bieten soll. `14.Jun.2025`	WHDLoad-Frontend: iGame 2.6.0 für AmigaOS 3/4, MorphOS iGame ist ein MUI-basiertes Frontend für das Starten von WHDLoad-Titeln. George 'walkero' Sokianos hat an dem quelloffene Programm wieder einige Änderungen vorgenommen: Neue Features Durch das Ändern des Genre-Auswahlfelds in ein PopupString ist es jetzt möglich, den Genre-Titel zu bearbeiten und neue Titel zu erstellen, die dann zur Genre-Liste hinzugefügt werden. Portugiesische Sprache hinzugefügt Änderungen Die Genres im Informationsfenster wurden in ein PopupString geändert. Jetzt braucht man weniger Platz, um ein Genre auszuwählen, was auch bei kleinen Auflösungen möglich ist. Die Titel in den Genre-Listen sind alphabetisch sortiert Einige unnötige Füllelemente der Genre-Zyklusfelder und -Schleifen wurden entfernt. Dadurch sollte iGame etwas schneller starten. Einige zusätzliche Änderungsbenachrichtigungen in den Genre-Listen wurden entfernt, wodurch unnötige Aktualisierungen der Spiele-/Demo-Listen vermieden werden sollten. Es wurde eine Abfrage hinzugefügt, um Fehler anzuzeigen, die beim Start von iGame auftreten, wenn eine Bibliothek fehlt. Das iGame-Symbol wird nun wieder von Workbench auf "Start" gesetzt. Das Fenster "Über" wurde überarbeitet und um ein neues Logo und Links ergänzt. Das Hauptbild im Repository wurde geändert.
