Amiga User List: GAUHPIL database reworked
The GAUHPIL (Geographical Amiga Users Home Page Internet List) is a MySQL based database created and moderated by Dietmar Knoll. It contains website addresses of Amiga users, that can be questioned by continent and country.
Additionally, it features a flexible search function.
In the past few weeks, the PHP scripts have been completely reworked and new functions have been added. The former country search links have been replaced by "real" country lists and a few more flags and internal links have been added.
The moderation script now finally allows to add new links, that have been mailed to the moderator. Nevertheless, the preferred way should be that interested users type in their data themselves.
Currently, the GAUHPIL lists 730 users from 39 countries.
The number of users for each country can be found on the page "All Countries". (snx)

Mac emulator: Basilisk II ported to MorphOS
Ilkka Lehtoranta has ported Basilisk II version 0.9 to MorphOS. The open source program by Christian Bauer emulates a 68k Mac.
The MorphOS version is an early release with only a very basic user interface and - as it seems - a bug with the palette on 8 bit screens.
Ethernet, SCSI and audio output should work, the author doesn't take any responsibility if the program leads to unwanted system damage.
Usage requires a so called "OldWorld" ROM as well as a 68k version of the Mac OS (up to version 8.1). Mac OS 6.0.x, 7.0.x and 7.5.3 may be downloaded for free from Apple.

TextEditor.mcc: version 15.10 released
After the saving of the source code and releasing the MUI custom class TextEditor.mcc under the open source licence LGPL it is now available for download in the first public version (15.10) on the project homepage of the Texteditor.mcc open source team.
Next to some long awaited error fixes in this class PPC native versions for AmigaOS4 and MorphOS were created that are included in the archive.
As it is the first public open source version and some assembler coded parts had to be ported to C the authors point out that there may occur problems especially when importing and exporting text.
In this case the authors ask you to to fill in a Bugtracker report with a description as it is standard with open source projects on sf.net.

MorphOS: Demo version of Pixel32 released
A demo version of the image/photo/animation painting/editing and retouching application Pixel32 has been released also for MorphOS (screenshot). The MorphOS version requires PowerSDL by Ilkka Lehtoranta.
This is an alpha demo version of Pixel32. It may still contain bugs, typos and even unfinished functions. Especially the PowerPC versions are quite new and may be not as stable and usable as the x86 versions. If you find any bug or Pixel32 crashes, please e-mail the .debuglog file from Pixel32 directory to the author with a small description what you were doing.
In the demo version there are two limitations: a visible watermark in images and a small annoying dialog box informing you about using only a demo version.
