Individual Computers: ACA500-version for Amiga 2000 announced
A week ago, Jens Schönfeld announced in a forum post a version of the starter accelerator board ACA500 for the Amiga 2000 (teaser advertisement).
The board will have an IDE-port as well as CF card slot with Hotplug-support which can be installed instead of a second disk drive.

AmigaOS 4: Word Me Up XXL 1.60
The commercial arcade/puzzle game "Word Me Up XXL" developed by Boing Attitude has been updated, which fixes some minor bugs:
- Added Greek language
- Fading effects speed improvement (twice faster)
- Better scrolling with characters portraits, menu item, ... animations
- Fix a bug on fonts display that occurs with current AmigaOS 4 beta
- Slight improvement on sound management

Amiga-Emulator: WinFellow 0.5.2
A new version of the Windows-based Amiga-emulator "WinFellow" has been released. The most important changes of this update:
- new display configuration options for setting scale factor (1x and 2x, retaining a proper aspect ratio), and scaling strategy (solid/scanline); inclusion of higher screen resolutions to allow use of 2x windowed modes
- support for 2x mode in Amiga Forever
- support for model presets to quickly get started setting up model specific configurations (a number of presets is already included)
- automatic interlace compensation (WinFellow will automatically detect interlaced graphics and perform interlace compensation; this can be disabled in various options, but is on by default for new configurations)
- lower system requirements (an SSE capable processor is no longer required)
- Windows 8.1 added to the supported operating systems
Additionally the following bugs have been fixed:
- re-initialize the emulation session when a change of display adapter properties (color depth, different graphics adapter) is detected
- cancelling the configuration dialog no longer performs changes to the configuration
- support for sprites in hires dual playfield mode was fixed, making previously invisible objects visible on the screen
- sprite DMA was being disabled instead of waiting, causing invisible sprites
- PC -2 saved on the stack for address exception
- proper "short frame" when display is interlaced and frame is short
- fix copper list load
- failure to find valid screen mode for screens with unusual refresh rates (Microsoft VirtualPC, ...)
- fixes for several crashes to desktop caused by NULL pointer exceptions
- cancelling an undo dialog in Amiga Forever will no longer close the emulation session
- reset of Amiga Forever emulation session no longer causes input devices to no longer function
- fixed problem with Amiga Forever clipping calculations for left offsets <16 (would lead to only half the screen being visible) or one of the offset values = 0 (would ignore the offsets completely)

Music: "The Amiga Works" by Allister Brimble available
After the Kickstarter project (amiga-news.de reported) was successfully finished, the album "The Amiga Works" by Allister Brimble is available under the title link (with Firefox there are some problems).
The double-CD includes 27 edited tracks of games of Team 17 - among others Assassin, Superfrog, Alien Breed and Project X - as well as of other games like Zeewolf, Spellbound Dizzy and Troddlers.

AmigaOS 4: Integrated development environment CodeBench 0.42
Simon "Rigo" Archer has released a new beta version of his integrated development environment CodeBench (screenshot). Codebench 0.42 requires the latest version of the official Software Development Kit.
There are two versions of the so far free edition of Codebench: One can be used with the AmigaOS 4-SDK, the other with Hollywood.

Alinea Computer becomes X1000-distributor (update)
According to Trevor Dickinson of A-EON in his latest Blog, the PPC-computers "AmigaOne X1000" will be sold by the German trader Alinea Computer. In the Internet-shop of the company the X1000 is not listed so far. All interested users are to contact Alinea via eMail.
Additional to the well-known complete systems with preinstalled AmigaOS 4.1 there also is a dualboot-option with an installed Linux. We do not have information about prices yet. According to unconfirmed information the former distributor Amigakit listed a X1000 complete system with about 3100 Euro.

MorphOS: Nintendo-Emulator FCEU 1.4
Kelly Samel has released a new version of his MorphOS-port of FCE Ultra which is an emulator of the Nintendo-Entertainment-System (NES). FCE Ultra features high compatibility, sound as well as Save-RAM and Save-State support.
Changes in version 1.4:
- Improved screen display offsets
- New input configuration panel
- XBox 360 gamepad support via sensors.library
- New save state manager panel
- Many other bug fixes and improvements

Home-made: Replacement for memory expansion A501
Under the title link you can find information about the open-source respectively open-hardware project of a "replacement A501 512K memory expansion trapdoor card".
According to the developer the so far unpublished DRAM-Timings will be documented. Currently, "approximately 60% of the wiring connections have been made".

Putty Squad: Release together with HD-version for PC and consoles
According to a report of Games Asylum under the title link, next month the game Putty Squad, which was released for PC, Mac and several consoles, will be again sold as a HD-version in a special collector's edition which additionally includes the still unreleased Amiga version.
If it actually is the full version of the game or the well-known demo version, currently is not clear. An inquiry was sent to System 3.
