`23.Dec.2009` Edgar Schwan (ANF)	AmigaOS 4: Scanner driver and software SANE for AmiCygnix Edgar Schwan has ported the Scanner application SANE to his X11-environment AmiCygnix (screenshots: 1, 2). The package includes a lot of drivers ("Sane Backends 1.0.20") as well as some graphical or console based scanner-programs ("Sane Frontends 1.0.14"). This current version only supports Scanners with USB-port or network-interface. Additionally pictures can be catalogued and assigned to virtual albums. Version 1.2 includes some bug fixes as well as the WAManager which was integrated (screenshot). `20.Dec.2009` Retro Gamer (ANF)	Game consoles: Alien-Breed-Series will be continued The Alien-Breed-Series, which was published from 1991 to 1996 for the Amiga and partly for the PC as well, will be officially continued with "Alien Breed Evolution".
