Managing ADF files: adflib V0.10.0 for Windows, Linux and macOS
Laurent Clevy first released adflib in 1999 in version 0.7.8 (Aminet). The portable C library, written mainly in C, is used to manage Amiga-formatted devices such as hard disks and ZIP disks or to swap them out via the .ADF format (amiga-news.de reported). The library is currently being developed under the responsibility of Tomasz Wolak. Changes in version 0.10.0:
- improved device support (hard disks, size limits, predefined types)
- write support: fixed bug on (lack of) OFS data block header update on appending
- native devices: fixed Linux native driver (opening the device was failing)
- renamed and improved command-line utilities
- enabled native devices on read-only tools: adfinfo, unadf
- fixed minor bugfixes in unadf (setting file permissions and timestamps on directories)
