Video: Introduction of "PiStorm68k" and "AmiCube 1200" Ranko Rodic presented the current status of two of his projects a week ago: the "PiStorm68k" and the "AmiCube F1200". The "PiStorm68k" can accommodate any Raspberry Pi, including the 3B+, thanks to its newly designed form factor. In addition to an integrated WIFI module and a RealTimeClock, the board also contains a DIP64 slot to accommodate a real 68000 CPU. Using a simple switch, it is possible to switch back and forth between the PiStorm and the 68000 CPU. After some introductory videos (1, 2), Ranko Rodic also shows the final version of his computer project called "AmiCube F1200". It is to be a state-of-the-art FPGA computer that uses a Spartan 6 FPGA and is being specially developed for compatibility with Amiga. Among other things, it is said to offer "AGA support, stellar CPU performance, MIDI capabilities, 64MB RAM for seamless multitasking, USB support for convenient connectivity, and Joystick DB 9 support". It also has enhanced floppy interface capabilities. As soon as the prototype has been successfully tested, porting of the AGA core will begin. (dr) [News message: 11.
