Stephen Jones announced smaller version of his "Checkmate 1500 Plus" case
In September 2018, Stephen Jones successfully financed his case Checkmate 1500 Plus which was inspired by the A3000. This version of the Checkmate, which Jones said he is going to sell the last 300 pieces in the near future, was remarkably bigger than the original A3000 case since it could also host an A500 or A1200.
In a Youtube interview, Jones has announced a smaller version of the case which will only host motherboards of the Mini-ITX but (almost) meets the original size of the Amiga 3000. Currently only renderings of the new case are available which again is supposed to be financed via Kickstarter.
