Event: Reports and pictures from the Amiga Ireland Meetup 3.0 On 19. and 20. January the third meeting of the Amiga Users Ireland took place in Athlone. Trevor Dickinson (A-EON Technology) and David Pleasance (Commodore UK) attended the meeting and Mr. Dickinson interviewed Mr. Pleasance. In this interview (video) the former Commodore manager - from about minute 34 - also talked about his engagement for the operating system "Friend" (amiga-news.de reported). After Hogne Titlestad in his open letter talked about native hardware in general, at the Amiga Ireland Meetup David Pleasance did speculate about a Raspberry-Pi-based "CD 1200" for Friend and a corresponding Kickstarter project.
