Encryption: AmiSSL 4
A team led by Jens Maus (e.g. YAM) has released version 4 of the OpenSSL-port AmiSSL, which can establish encrypted connections on the Internet - e.g. loading a website using HTTPS.

AmiSSL 4 is based on the latest OpenSSL 1.1.0d providing new encryption algorithms - existing Amiga software has to be adapted to be able making use of them.

AmiSSL is free software, the source code is available on Github. So far versions for Amiga 3 and 4 has been released. For porting it to MorphOS and AROS, help is needed.

Hint of the editorial staff: If you are using IBrowse, you should enable TLS for improving the compatibility to encrypted websites also without using AmiSSL-4. (cg) (Translation: dr)
