Amiga at the Royal Navy: WxWatch
Many fans of the Amiga know that the computer was used by the NASA. But the software provider Anticyclone now claimed that it was also used on ships of the British Royal Navy: On its website the company introduces "WxWatch", which is a "APT Weather Satellite image processing system which gave excellent results even under demanding conditions."
The Amiga is not mentioned by name, but the screenshots as well as parts of the text ("32 bit pre-emptive multitasking operating system", "ARexx scripting language") provide clear indications.
