AROS: VmwAROS 1.0.1
Paolo Besser who is the maintainer of the AROS-distribution VmwAROS has published an update to version 1.0.1. This update requires an installed version.
Furthermore he published a video which shows the VmwAROS.
Changes:
- New AROS-kernel and current system files
- Current SDK
- Correted sdl-config-script
- Update of ATI-Radeon-drivers
- MPlayer with three different start scripts
- Double-clicking a MP3-file opens the MPlayer in GUI-modus
- ArosAmp 0.21, MilkyTracker, VICE, HFinder and SDLcalc added
- Current versions of MuiBase, PortablE and ConfigIP-Prefs
- Some more games and applications
The update is available as 7Zip compressed ISO-file. After having unpacked and burned on a CD or integrated the ISO-images in a Virtual Machine (using the VE-version of VmwAROS) you can start the update by starting the program VmwUpdate in the directory AROS:Tools.
The update can be downloaded either under Filefront or
AmiKit.
