Genesi: Development programs for High Density Blade Server and OSW
On PPCZone.org Genesi has started development programmes for the announced products High Density Blade Server (HDB) and Open Server Workstation (OSW).
OSW is supposed to carry two 970MP PowerPC-processors by IBM (altogether four processor cores) and will be available in June 2006.
Whereas the HDB is to be equipped with two PowerPC-G4-processors by Freescale and a Tsi109-Northbridge by Tundra.
Both development programmes have been opened, own project ideas can be registered.
Handling of new applications for the already active Efika-programme is supposed to be continued in the first week of March.
