Intel announces Dual-Core-Processor for desktop-computers
Intel has announced a desktop processor with Dual-Core for 2005. The planned Pentium-4-Prescott
successor with codename Tejas will be not produced. The company has not given any statement
if this means the end for the Pentium-4-architecture; but it is more likely that Intel
turns to the Pentium-M-architecture that does not need so much current.
