Aminet: New Versions of BMPdt and xpkGZIP
New versions of BMP-Datatypes (V40.16, 42 kB) and the XPK Module xpkGZIP (V1.2, 74 kB) have appeared on Aminet. Both are by Gunther Nikl.
XpkGZIP 1.2 makes use of zlib 1.1.4 and was ported with GCC 3.3. Through GCC 3.3 xpkGZIP got about 11% faster at compressing.
BMPdt now uses inline-assembler for little -> big endian adjusting. (snx) (Translation: dm)
