 | AmIDE goes Open-Source (GPL) Not long ago the source codes of AmIDE which is an integrated developing
environment for the Amiga have been published by Jens Langner under GPL
(open-source) and thus is available to everybody under the title link.

Jens has published the source codes because he cannot develop further
AmIDE and thus hopes to encourage a team of developers for the
sourceforge project.

The source texts have been completely reworked for the GPL release and
have been uploaded to the CVS of the sourceforge server in this way that
they immediatly can be compiled with SAS/C.

Every interested developer who wants to directly take part in AmIDE is
supposed to contact Jens
Langner and will then get the writing access to the CVS sources.
The old homepage will be updated later and an explicit developer
mailing list will be also created then.
