Amiga Becomes Handheld PC
On video text page 632 of German TV station RTL2 there's the following news today:
«On the CeBIT the "Smart-Boy®", a new miniature PC in handheld format,
will be presented which is equipped with a touch-screen display, chip- and
credit card reader. A consumer device is supposed to follow this autumn which
will be distributed under the label "Amiga(TM)". In the eighties, the Amiga
was the first fully multimedia capable computer for the mass market.»
Manufacturer is the company Thendic Electronic Components GmbH
from Aschaffenburg, Germany.
