Silicon Valley Pioneer William Hewlett Has Passed
«The legendary engineer and Silicon Valley pioneer
William Hewlett
has passed on Friday in Palo Alto, California, at the age of 87. He was co-founder of the technology corporation
Hewlett-Packard. Together with David Packard he started his business in a
garage in Palo Alto and lead it
to the computer age and to a high tech giant with 49 milliards US dollar volume of sales. Hewlett millionfold
got ahead of his initial target, "...to do anything to earn a nickle". The economy magazine
Forbes listed him on

of the richest men of America with fortune of nine milliards US dollars.»
