EETimes: Moto(rola) invests in virtual processor software house
GNN titles: Motorola investing in Amiga partner Tao
The CPU manufacturer Motorola, the other manufacturer of the PowerPC chip used by Apple besides IBM,
recently purchased a minority of the Tao Group. Since 1994 Tao offers TaOS, an innovative operating
system for the diverse CPU platforms, and already engaged in a strategic partnership with Amiga
Incorporated in December 1999.
