G3 PowerPC board
After we were shown the AmiJoe G3 PowerPC
boards for A1200 by Metabox in a small circle, I called Metabox on the phone to learn the
following:
The AmiJoe boards for A1200 are finished, and production starts in December.
Scheduled release date is end of January. The other boards for A2000 / A3000 / A4000 are
to follow about 1-2 months later.
There are currently talks with Haage &
Partner about their 68k emulation and the PPC software used. I hope these talks are successful,
since another PPC driver system (aside from WarpUp / PowerUp) will be of little help.
