Handhelds: Amiga game Nicky Boom ported
The Amiga game "Nicky Boom" developed by Microids is now distributed for Windows Mobile and PalmOS as well. A Symbian version of the Jump'n'Run game was announced. Additionally under the title link there is a Flash demo version.

Event: Interview with Andy Finkel at CommVEx 4
In the line with the fourth CommVEx there will be an interview with Andy Finkel. For this questions are still requested. You can send them to Amiga.org.
From 1981 to 1991 Andy Finkel developed different computers for Commodore (e.g. VIC-20, C64, C128, Commodore LCD and Amiga CDTV). After that he started his own company Flying Cat and advised companies like 3DO, Microprose and Lotus Pacific. In 1996 his was one of the persons who founded the PIOS Computer AG (later Met@box).

IRC-client: WookieChat 2.9
James 'jahc' Carroll has published a new version of his MUI-based IRC-client WookieChat (screenshots: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
The changes are included in the Changelog. WookieChat is available for all Amiga systems.

DiscreetFX: Effects package SportsFX for Video Toaster announced

Minimig box: Price anounced
Loriano Pagni has announced the price for his Minimig box. It is 67,45 Pound (about 85 Euro) plus shipping.
Because of the low efforts for the Miming lettering it is included in the price.

Event: PowerDev-Meeting in Prague
On the 23./24. August the Czech Pegasos user group (Czech PUG) will organize a PowerDev-Meeting in Prague. Additional to version 2.0 of MorphOS the developer boards with the processors MPC5121E (planned for the "Efika 2") and MPC8610 will be introduced.
