Installer 1.34 (Update)
Installer written by Guido 'geit' Mersmann is a replacement for Commodore's installation program. Installer is available for AmigaOS, AmigaOS 4 and MorphOS.
Version 1.34 includes some bug fixes and will be part of MorphOS 2.6.

Today a bugfix has been released that solves a problem with the update script of CygnusEd. The version number of Installer did not change, though.

MorphOS: SimpleView 2.2l
Under the title link Tom 'Amigaharry' Duin has published version 2.21 of his MorphOS picture viewer SimpleView. With this update the scaling of pictures was speeded up.

AmigaOS 4: WebP datatype and conversion program
WebP is a datatype provided by Google for pictures with adjustable compression rate and a RIFF-based container.
Unsatisfactory Software now has published the first WebP-datatype for AmigaOS 4. The program WebPConv can convert pictures to this new format.

Frieden-brothers and Jens Schönfeld on AmiWest 2010 (22.-24. October)
According to the organizers Hans-Jörg and Thomas Frieden from the OS4-team will be present on the AmiWest (22.-24. October, Sacramento, California) and present the X1000.
Jens Schönfeld from Individual Computers will be present as well.

ACube Systems: Delivery of SAM 460ex in 2 weeks

AmigaOS 4: Basilisk II 0.9.5
Basilisk II is an open-source emulator of different 68k-Macintosh-computers (Mac Classic, Mac-II-serie). The update offers now an experimental, MMU-based video memory conversion.
Basilisk II uses the processor emulation of UAE which would overcharge the PowerUP accelerator boards. Users of the "Classic"-version of AmigaOS 4 are recommended to use Shapeshifter or Fusion.

Tomasz "Kaczus" Kaczanowski has published a new beta versions of the MUI-based newsreader Newscoaster for MorphOS. This version does not use the MUI-classes NList and NListtree any longer which could cause some problems.

AROS: Bounty project to adapt LLVM
With a donation of 500 US-Dollar Pascal Papara has established a bounty project which is supposed to adapt the compiler infrastructure LLVM (Wikipedia) to the x86-ABI of AROS.
This is to make it more easy to simultaneously develop applications for the 32- and 64-bit-version of AROS.

MorphOS: Sudoku-Solver Sudominator 0.2
Grzegorz "Krashan" Kraszewski's Sudominator solves Sudoku-puzzles. Version 0.2 can load and save puzzles and the colours of the background can be set. Additionally some minor bugs were fixed.

AROS: Distribution Broadway 0.0.2R8 SP4
Pascal Papara has published an update of his AROS-distribution Broadway. This release includes some bug fixes and updates of the applications. Additionally Lbreakout2 (with sound), OWB and 1941 Extreme were added.
SP4 was not specially marked on the Broadway homepage but the download link there gets you this latest release.

Image editing: iBatch 1.0
Gero Birkenfeld's Image Batcher ("iBatch") is supposed to simplify renaming and converting several image files. The images of a directory are shown as thumbnails and the user can choose the files and the steps of procedure.
