AmigaOS 4: Dir Me Up 1.30
Dir Me Up is a commercial file manager for AmigaOS 4.1 which was written by Jérôme 'Glames' Senay. In version 1.30 among others icons in the list of volumes and files were added (ability to display true icons), drag'n'drop is possible from the Workbench to make copies of drawers/files and there is a preview area for e.g. pictures.

Event: AmiWest 2013 in Sacramento (USA)
The 16th annual AmiWest Computer Show has been announced for October 18-20 at the Holiday Inn Express, 2224 Auburn Boulevard in Sacramento, USA. Also the AmiWest Programming Conference will be held October 16-18 at the same location.

MorphOS: PengoBrain 1.1
PengoBrain written by Achim Kern is a memory game for kids written with Hollywood. The goal of the game is to lead a penguin over a safe path which can be only be seen at the beginning of the game. After the releases for AmigaOS 4 and AmigaOS 3.x, version 1.1 now is also available for MorphOS.

AmigaOS 4: X11-environment AmiCygnix 1.3 Release 2
Edgar Schwan has released an update of his X11-environment AmiCygnix for AmigaOS 4. Release 2 of version 1.3 of both basic packages includes the following changes:
- The support of dead keys was revised again. In 1.3 r1 this feature didn't
work properly. Additionally all dead keys - except "DeadDialytikaTonos" -
defined in the keymap files in "KEYMAPS:" are now supported.
- AmiCygnix-tools: The GTK+-programms were linked again to fix the keyboard problems

Amiga Future: Interview with Petro Tyschtschenko
At the title link, print magazine Amiga Future published a recent interview with the former president of Amiga Technologies GmbH, Petro Tyschtschenko. There he talks about the sale of Magic packs as well as the origin of the A1200 boards he offered earlier this month. The latter were ordered by him from the same indian dealer to swap against defunct boards in the Magic packs.

AROS: PGP, VecXGL 1.2 and Speed Dreams
Szilárd 'BSzili' Biró and 'serk118uk' have released new ports for AROS: The encrypting programm Pretty Good Privacy, the emulator of the 8-Bit-console Vectrex VecXGL as well as the car driving game Speed Dreams.

Game-Launcher: X-bEnCH 0.86 Beta
X-bEnCH (Youtube-video) is a graphical user-interface, which can replace the Workbench for starting WHDLoad-games (.slave, .exe). According to the developer, the programm works on all Amigas (68000 to 68060 processor) with OCS or AGA and requires low memory.

MorphOS: Doom-Engine Odamex 0.6.2
After the AROS-version, Szilárd 'BSzili' Biró has ported Odamex 0.6.2 for MorphOS as well. Server, a graphical user-interface and Timidity-MIDI-support are still missing.
Odamex is a version of the Doom-engine which combines the features of Boom with some other innovations: The widescreen format is supported and the mouse can be used ("Mouselook"). Additionally, the characters in the games can jump.

Windows: WinUAE game management Amigula 1.6.1
The game management Amigula was inspired by the WHDLoad complement iGame and allows you to start games with WinUAE. In version 1.6.1 some bugs were fixed and you can watch Youtube-longplay-videos in a seperate tab as help while you are playing.

Press release: today, Hyperion Entertainment CVBA (Belgium) and Individual Computers GmbH (Germany) have signed a license agreement for use of Kickstart 1.3 and Kickstart 3.1 ROMs in processor accelerators for Amiga 500, Amiga 1000, Amiga 2000 and Amiga 2500.

AmigaOS 4: FFmpeg 1.1.3
Version 1.1.3 of the AmigaOS-4-port of the programm FFmpeg was released. With it you can convert files from one video, audio or picture format into another. In this latest version several new decoders and encoders, muxer and filters have been added. It is now also possible to add subtitles and to convert and play MOD/MED-modules.

FPGA Arcade: Another production started
According to Mike Johnson under the title link, another production of his FPGA Arcade has started. First, 100 of 500 planned boards are produced. They will be probably delivered in April.
The latest change is an USB-adapter which replaces the PS/2-port and which can be also upgraded to older boards. Next week a new beta core will be released. The FPGA Arcade based on the Minimig can be used for emulating the Amiga.

AmigaOS 4: PengoBrain 1.1
PengoBrain written by Achim Kern is a memory game for kids. It was written with Hollywood and is so far available for AmigaOS 4 and Windows 7. The goal of the game is to lead a penguin over a safe path which can be only be seen at the beginning of the game.
Version 1.1 includes 25 levels, a level editor which can be launched with shift-key-E and little bug fix of version 1.0.

Retro case: Other awards for X500-Plus-Kickstarter-project
For the Kickstarter-project of Loriano 'TheDaddy' Pagni, the retro case X500 Plus (amiga-news.de reported), you can now also pledge an amount of 20 to 45 Pounds Sterling. So far 5462 Pounds of 10000 have been pledged.

Event: Silicon Dreams & Vintage Computer Festival in Coalville, England
According to Mikey Carillo, there will be also an Amiga section during the Silicon Dreams & Vintage Computer Festival in Coalville. A-EON and Amigakit have already announced their attendance.
The event will take place from July 5th till 7th. Volunteers, developers/key speakers and other exhibitors are very welcome. MorphOS and AROS users as well.
