Events: Pictures and videos of Saku 2013 (Finland)

MorphOS: Bounties for JIT Javascript Compiler and Despotify-port
On morphos.pl two new bounties have been established: The first one, about 820 Euro have been already donated for, is aimed to get a Javascript-JIT-compiler for the web browser Odyssey - presenting and editing websites with complex Javascript routines would be significantly accelerated. The second bounty is aimed to port the open-source Spotify-client Despotify. (cg) (Translation: dr)

MorphOS: Driver for Promise SATAII150/300 series PCI-adapters
Ulsata2 1.0 is a new MorphOS driver by Rupert Hausberger for SATA-II adapters based on the Promise SATAII150/300 series. Supported chipsets can be found at the title link.

MorphOS features include up to 2 adapters with 64-bit, S.M.A.R.T. and query.library support (HDConfig/Mounter), MorphOS 1.x is sufficient for usage. (snx)

Linux: Experimental OpenSUSE 11.1-1 for AmigaOne X1000
Christian Zigotzky has adapted OpenSUSE 11.1-1 to the AmigaOne X1000. This is an experimental version, you will use it at your own risk.

Progress report: Difficulties in porting Opus Magellan
In a blog entry, Roman 'kas1e' Kargin reported about the difficulties, a team of AmigaOS-, MorphOS- and AROS-developers had to overcome to get rid of the m68k and AmigaOS 3 dependences in the source codes of Directory Opus Magellan and then to be able to port them to modern Amiga-systems. Game launcher: X-bEnCH 0.91 beta 3
X-bEnCH (Youtube-Video of version 0.8) is a graphical user-interface with up to 128 colours which can be used for starting WHDLoad games (.slave, .exe) and for this purpose can replace the Workbench.
