TVision recognized as Industry's first Open JavaTM Programmable Set-top Box
LAS VEGAS-Infomedia Network was recognized today at the International
Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas as being the first TV set-top box
manufacturer to provide an open JavaTM Programmable Set-top box.
Utilizing a true real time operating system and JavaTM Virtual Machine,
Infomedia's TVision set-top box provides features and functionality that
content developers and service providers have been looking for in
programmable consumer electronics devices.
