Bootable Amiga emulator: AmiBootEnv 0.5.11 AmiBootEnv is a bootable Amiga emulation based on Debian Linux and the Amiberry emulator. Unlike similar solutions, the developer's aim here is simply to offer a basic emulation of various Amiga models that is as lean and easy to install as possible. It is up to the user to install and configure the desired AmigaOS versions and applications (amiga-news.de reported). Since our latest news item, a configuration selection for non-UEFI systems such as the Raspberry Pi has been added as well as AmiBerry-Lite for low-powered systems; also the optional Xorg support has been improved. Computers in movies and television: Starring the Computer Starring the Computer is a website dedicated to the use of computers in film and television. Each appearance is catalogued and rated on its importance (ie. how important it is to the plot), realism (how close its appearance and capabilities are to the real thing) and visibility (how good a look does one get of it). Fictional computers don't count (unless they are built out of bits of real computer). The Amiga also appears in several films and television series, for example the Amiga 500 in the Derrick episode "Fliegender Vogel" (1988). But of course there are many more entries.
