m68k assembler support: m68kplugin for JetBrains
In September 2021, we reported on Chris 'platon42' Hodges' MC68000 Assembly Language Plugin for Jetbrains' integrated development environments and also mentioned a second approach by Yann Cébron, whose plugin had not yet been released at that time.

This happened shortly afterwards. According to the documentation, support currently focuses on editing, code insight and navigation. There is no support for project setup, integration with build tools or execution/debugging. The new version 0.2.0 has now been released. (dr)

Print magazine: Amiga Future Archive DVD #6
The "Amiga Future Archive DVD #6" is a pressed DVD9 with over 8 GB of data, containing the following issues of the print magazine in digital form:
  • German: Issues 11-170
  • English: Issues 67-170
The German edition 11 and the English edition 67 were both first editions. Issues 11 to 26 are lower-quality scans, while the remaining issues were exported directly as PDF files. The publisher apologises that it is not possible to offer updates for earlier versions of the Amiga Future Archive DVD and advises customers to ensure that their drive is capable of reading DVD9 discs. Event: Details about AmiWest 2025 in Sacramento, USA (November 1-2)
Press release: October 27th, 2025; Sacramento, California - The Sacramento Amiga Computer Club is proud to present AmiWest 2025 on November 1st and 2nd. This is a special year for the Amiga Computer, launched by Commodore in 1985, marking the platform's 40th anniversary. So far this year, Amiga enthusiasts have been treated to the AMIGA/040th in Silicon Valley and the Amiga40 in Germany, along with a host of other special events.

AmiWest, the longest-running Amiga show in the world, will be celebrating its 40th anniversary with a focus on the Amiga community. In place of a traditional show floor banquet, we will be traveling to a local Sacramento Burgers and Brew. In place of a conventional speaker, we will allow the attendees to share their Amiga Computer journeys and experiences.

The show floor will see several new exhibits joining our long-time supporters. We will have the Amiga "Lorraine" wire-wrap prototype, the AMIGA/040th FutureWall, Marcin Spoczynski (Tunefinder) and more. We will also present AmigaOS 4 Update 3, the new Mirari PPC board, and AmigaOS 3.3 beta. To top it off, the A-Eon A1222+, motherboard and complete tower systems, will be on sale at the AAA table!

For presentations, the show will have unique content:
  • Carl Sassenrath presents the history of the Amiga
  • Jason Neus talking about AmiPCI
  • A-Eon updates from Trevor Dickinson and Matthew Lehman
  • Steven Solie is providing an update on AmigaOS 4 multicore
  • And more!
Like AmiWests in the past, we will have the Raffle, Games Competition, and live internet broadcast! (snx)

Windows: Emu68 Imager 1.0.6.4
The Imager tool for Windows enables PiStorm users to prepare an SD card with the Motorola 68K emulation Emu68 and a preconfigured AmigaOS 3.x installation. The update now forces the download of version 1.3 of GeNet, as its version 2.0 would require a customized version of Emu68. (snx)
