`30.Sep.2025` Games and Consoles	New platformer: SwitcherBoy 1.1 for AGA Amigas The puzzle action game SwitcherBoy has been released in its final version 1.1. The title was developed by C.R.A.N.E. for AGA-equipped Amigas with some Fast RAM. An adaptation for ECS/OCS computers is planned. SwitcherBoy combines skill and puzzle-solving: players must dodge enemies while activating switches to unlock the exit of each level. The game was created using the Redpill engine, utilizes reworked public domain graphics, and features an original soundtrack by Fermix. SwitcherBoy took second place at the AmigaWave Awards and third place in the gaming competition at the Posadas Party 2025 (amiga-news.de reported) and has been further developed since then. `30.Sep.2025` Markus Tillmann (ANF)	Event: Repair corner at Amiga40 For the first time, Amiga40 will feature an official repair service where visitors can have their Amiga systems checked and repaired on site. Led by renowned Amiga experts Andy "Botfixer" Bandel, Carsten "Mallet" Hanning, Mirko Schäfer, and Johannes Franke, the service area offers support and assistance with fault diagnosis, maintenance, and upgrades. The focus will be on tips and tricks and support for beginners and those returning to the Amiga. In addition to useful maintenance tips, the specialists will also help with typical problems such as installing a Gotek drive or connecting the Amiga to a network. For minor and moderate defects, 30-minute time slots are offered on both days, which can be booked in advance by emailing info@amigaevent.de. The Repair Corner is located in the foyer of the event. For safety reasons, soldering work may only be carried out outdoors. The service itself is donation-based; only replacement parts are charged at cost price. `28.Sep.2025` Amiga Future (website)	vAmigaWeb: Information for Safari users The Amiga emulator for web browsers vAmigaWeb is currently not working with Apple's Safari browser: Its version 26.0 interrupts the faster and more efficient native WASM exceptions used for emulation, which is why a slower Javascript exception implementation has been used for the time being. Those affected must therefore open a private Safari tab and add the app to the dock or (on iPadOS) to the home screen again. The developers assume that once Apple has fixed the bug in Safari, the previously faulty vAmigaWeb apps will work again and access to stored snapshot and workspace data will be possible once more.
