AmigaOS 4: Dungeon of Chess ported Four months ago 'MrsRina' had written a simple chess game "Dungeon of Chess" in SDL2 and OpenGL 3 (YouTube video). Roman 'kas1e' Kargin has adapted this to AmigaOS 4, added background music and made some small corrections. The source files are included and offer, as he writes, a good way to get familiar with SDL programming. (dr) [News message: 30. By means of the plugin FloppyBridge WinUAE is also officially supported since version 4.9.0 (amiga-news.de reported). In his latest video Robert Smith takes you step by step through the setup of the FloppyBridge plugin in WinUAE. Starting with the installation of WinUAE followed by the configuration and explanation of all FloppyBridge options. (dr) [News message: 30. Debugging tool: PatchWork 1.0 More than ten years after the last version 0.17, Richard Körber has released version 1.0 of his debugging tool PatchWork today. Similar to MuForce and Mungwall it ensures that calls to AmigaOS libraries are AutoDocs compliant. Illegal parameters (e.g. NULL where a pointer is expected) are reported. PatchWork helps to make program code more robust and future-proof. The source code was previously closed. Richard Körner has checked and reformatted the files and made the project compilable with vbcc on Linux (and probably other systems). The source code is now open for everyone to contribute, study, etc. Changes:
