Action-Adventure: Update for Enemy 2
For the recently released action adventure Enemy 2: Missing in Action an update is available which gets the game running on 1MB-computers that are only equipped with 512KB Chip-RAM. Additionally the buggy file of level 18 was replaced.

Main programm is not crunched any longer
Command 'CloseWB' added to startup-sequence to get more CHIP-memory
Sound-effects reduced: abprall.fx and schrei0.fx
astart.txt: new version-number
sektor03.sek: misleading wall arrow removed
sektor18.sek: File corrupt - replaced.

Jump'n Run: Solid Gold for Amiga 500
After about a year, Frank (code) and Gerrit Wille (graphics) have released their game "Solid Gold". According to the developers the game is a mix of Turrican, Giana Sisters and Rick Dangerous. It is a Jump'n Run game "with soft 8-way scrolling over four worlds with different graphics and music".

Solid Gold requires an Amiga with at least one Megabyte RAM (512 KB Chip, 512 KB Fast) as well as Kickstart 1.2 or higher. It is compatible to faster and more equipped computers but does not use the performance.

The source code of the game will be published in some days under a Public Domain licence. Another commercial release of the game with a professional case is planned. (cg) (Translation: dr)

Sirena Player is an audio player written in Hollywood for AmigaOS 3.x, AmigaOS 4 and MorphOS which can play FLAC-, MOD-, MP3-, M4A- and WAV-files. The programm requires the corresponding Hollywood-plugins as well as the mpega.library.

In this version a bug with drawer graphic button was fixed, a new playing clock with Count/Discount added and the source code recoded. (snx) (Translation: dr)

MiniHollyEdit was written by the French developer 'ArtBlink' and is an ARexx-based editor for the programming language Hollywood. So far an editor was only available for the Windows version. The update can only be used if Hollywood is installed on your system.

Accelerator board: Flash Update for the ACA500
Jens 'Paradroid' Schönfeld by Individual Computers has made available a Flash update for his Amiga 500-expension ACA500:

fixed unreliable entering of menu with mouse button
fixed star field and expert menu random settings bug, does not alter memory any more when menu is not started
Gurus were not shown, because our serial debugging caused launching the Rom-debugger. It is an experimental fix - please check it out!

In order to overwrite the Flash-ROM you have to unzip the file and copy it into the main directory of a FAT-formated memory card. The card then is put in the AUX-slot of the ACA500 (and all other cards must be removed).

After rebooting the computer, by pressing F10 you enter the "expert menu". By pressing the F-key you can to initialize the Flash-update.

28.Dec.2013 MorphOS: French shop announces Sam460-port
Already at Christmas, the French Amiga shop Amedia Computer has published a short Christmas greeting on amiga.org.

Among others it announces a port of the PPC operating system MorphOS to the Sam460. According to the shop, the support of ACube's PPC-hardware will be part of MorphOS 3.6 which is planned to be released in the second quarter of 2014.

Already a year ago, Frank Mariak by the MorphOS-team performed MorphOS on a Sam460. The MorphOS-team has not officially confirmend the announcement. (cg) (Translation: dr)
