Sound card: updated drivers for AmiGUS
Christoph Fassbach has updated his AHI and MHI drivers for the AmiGUS sound card and fixed several bugs:
- AHI recording: Lock-ups fixed by correcting calculation of interval length
- AHI recording: Crashes fixed by correcting calculation of FIFO size
- AHI playback: Now allowing more channels - still stupid, but when Tocatta is claiming 128 channels, I guess AmiGUS should do the same
- MHI: uper rare crashes of mp3 codec chip at end of playback fixed
The developer states: "We would also like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who reported errors and helped with testing. The recording tests in particular involved 8 sampling rates times 20 modes times 2 programs, which were run multiple times, resulting in a total of almost 1,000 test cases – we couldn't have done it without you, Ingo – thank you!"
