A collaborative effort between Freescale and Genesi USA, Inc., a new mobileGT Alliance member, introduces application opportunities based on the Power Architecture™ to members of Genesi's open source developer communities as well as Power.org member developers. The technology bundle combines Freescale's MPC5200B microprocessor based on the Power Architecture™ and Genesi's EFIKA reference platform with integrated open source software stack. `17.Feb.2006` Alinea Computer (ANF)	Alinea Computer übernimmt Vertrieb der Amiga-Produkte von Haage&Partner Glashütten, Deutschland den 17. Februar 2006. Wehrheim, Deutschland, den 17. Februar 2006. Haage&Partner und Alinea Computer geben bekannt, dass Alinea Computer ab sofort den Vertrieb der Amiga-Produkte von Haage&Partner übernehmen wird. Darunter befinden sich die Softwarepakete AmigaWriter, ArtEffect, StormC und Pagestream (deutsche Amiga-Versionen). Informationen zu den Produkten können ab sofort auf den Alinea Computer Internet-Seiten, aber auch noch auf den gewohnten Haage&Partner-Webseiten abgerufen werden. Händler- sowie Supportanfragen zu den Produkten sind zukünftig an Alinea Computer zu richten. Endkunden können die Produktpalette bei den bestehenden Amiga-Händlern, aber auch direkt im Online-Shop von Alinea Computer erwerben. `14.Feb.2006` Power.org (Forum)	Genesi: Entwicklerprogramme für High Density Blade Server und OSW Auf PPCZone.org hat Genesi Entwicklerprogramme für die angekündigten Produkte High Density Blade Server (HDB) und Open Server Workstation (OSW) gestartet. Die OSW soll zwei PowerPC-Prozessoren des Typs 970MP von IBM tragen (insgesamt vier Prozessorkerne) und voraussichtlich im Juni 2006 auf den Markt kommen. Der HDB hingegen soll mit zwei PowerPC-G4-Prozessoren von Freescale sowie einer Tsi109-Northbridge von Tundra ausgestattet werden. Beide Entwicklerprogramme sind eröffnet, eigene Projektideen können angemeldet werden.
