`17.Mär.2012` AROS-Exec (Webseite)	AROS: Audio Evolution 4 kostenlos verfügbar Nach der Ankündigung, Audio Evolution 4 frei verfügbar zu machen (amiga-news.de berichtete), ist der Version für AmigaOS 4 nun die AROS-Fassung gefolgt. In der aktuellen AROS-Distribution Icaros Desktop 1.4 ist sie bereits enthalten. Die MorphOS-Version soll später ebenfalls freigegeben werden. Kommerziell bietet Davy Wentzler neben Audio Evolution 5 für Windows und Mac OS X jetzt zudem eine Android-Variante an. `25.Feb.2012` Amiga.org (Webseite)	A-EON Technology unterstützt RadeonHD-Treiberentwicklung Wie Hans de Ruiter unter dem Titellink sowie Trevor Dickinson in einer Pressemitteilung bekanntgeben, hat A-EON Technology mit dem Entwickler des AmigaOS-4-Treibers für RadeonHD-Grafikkarten eine Vereinbarung getroffen, die es ihm erlaubt, in den nächsten Monaten mehr Zeit in die Weiterentwicklung zu investieren. Ziel sei es, den Treiber in qualitativer Hinsicht für eine offizielle Veröffentlichung (also die Version 1.0) abzurunden. Zugleich will ihn Hans de Ruiter damit auch für eine spätere 3D-Unterstützung vorbereiten.
