 Großes Sommerupdate von 17 Hollywood-Plugins
Pressemitteilung: Von wegen Sommerloch! Für alle Hollywood-User holt Airsoft Softwair diesen Sommer mit dem größten Plugin-Update in der Hollywood-Geschichte zum großen Rundumschlag aus! Von insgesamt 17 Plugins stehen ab sofort neue Versionen zum Download bereit. Durch die vielen von Hollywood unterstützten Plattformen bedeutet dies, dass über 200 neue Binaries kompiliert werden mussten, die insgesamt über 50 Megabyte einnehmen. Insbesondere Freunde des Raspberry Pi werden sich über diese Updates freuen, da alle Plugins jetzt auch für Linux ARM vorliegen, welches seit Hollywood 6.0 unterstützt wird.

Hier ist eine Übersicht über die Neuerungen in den einzelnen Plugins:

ahx.hwp 1.1:

avcodec.hwp 1.3:
  • New [Linux]: Added build for Linux ARM

  • Fix [OS3]: FPU version will cleanly exit now in case there is no FPU
  • Fix: Incorporated some fixes from newer FFMPEG builds which solve the problem of audio glitches when seeking audio streams because intermediate buffers weren't flushed correctly
  • New: Added support for Hollywood 6's "Adapter" tag
  • New: Added support for Hollywood 6's video/audio streaming interface
digibooster.hwp 1.1:
  • New [Linux]: Added build for Linux ARM

  • New: Plugin supports the "ScaleWidth" and "ScaleHeight" tags of Hollywood 5.3 now; can speed things up in case you need to load a scaled version of the SVG image

tiff.hwp 1.1:
  • New [Linux]: Added build for Linux ARM
  • Fix [Linux/MacOS]: Plugin is now compiled as position-independent code (PIC)
  • Fix [OS3]: FPU version will cleanly exit now in case there is no FPU

  • Fix: IsPicture() didn't return correct width, height, and alpha channel information
  • New: Added support for writing JPEG and FLATE compressed images; use #IMGFMT_TIFFJPEG and #IMGFMT_TIFFFLATE to access these new savers; the #IMGFMT_TIFFJPEG saver supports the "Quality" tag and also alpha channel images (requires Hollywood 5.3)
  • New: Added support for loading JPEG and FLATE compressed images (requires Hollywood 5.3)

 AmigaOS 4: PowerSelect 3.0
Janne Peraahos kommerzielles Programm "PowerSelect" für AmigaOS 4.1 erlaubt die Auswahl einer Gruppe von Workbench-Piktogrammen anhand von Suchkriterien (z.B. Datei-Endung oder Erzeugungsdatum) und liegt nun in der Version 3.0 vor.

Neu sind unter anderem fünf weitere Suchkriterien: Content, Default tool, Start from, Tooltypes und Tag. (snx)
