Blinkenlights Arcade: Documentation video for download
From September the 25th to October the 6th last year there has been the installation Arcade, the 2nd prank of the project Blinkenlights in Paris.

Like with the first project there is, by the title link, a documentation video available again. Within 14 minutes the project is introduced from sevaral viewpoints and interviews with the crew. The files are available as MPEG-1 and MPEG-4. (nba) (Translation: ub)

Virus warning: Virus in a demo file on JPV (FAG-MD03.LHA)
Subsequently you will find an announcement published in the ANF. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find an e-mail address on JPV's Web site, so I can't inform the maintainer.

The archive http://jpv.wmhost.com/releases/FAG-MD03.LHA has a "Happy new year98" virus in it. There is a link to this site from amiga-news.de. Also don't run this even after the virus is removed (VirusExecutor does the job) - it's an ugly pictures of gay porn. UGLY. Must be erased from every Amiga Hard Disk immediately.

Kind Regards

Warning: Nethands.de Warned About Missing Banner
As already reported many times, many homepage makers (it doesn't matter if they are private or commercial) are not aware that the new telecommunications service law (TDG) and/or the intermediate services state regulations (MDStV) include a provision requiring a banner. There are constantly resourceful (or better put, flighty) lawyers who want to earn their bread with warnings.

Flighty therefore, because it could be possible throughout to draw attention to a possible violation through email, and to offer to help out. If this remains unsuccessful first of all, our opinion about a warning is justified. The law is conclusively implemented to protect the surfer, and not to to enrich lawyers through warnings as well.

Read under the title link about how Nethands.de handles the warning, and help them if you have the opportunity. (ps) (Translation: dm)
