In version 4.1 there is a new option for switching off ("RMBONLY"). The archive now also includes a SDK with which external developers may use the flashrom.resource in their own applications. You can download it via Trident-Online-Update or on the website of the author. This upgrade to the latest version 4.2 is for free. For users of older versions (3.x, 2.x) as well. But if you want to support the author you can send him a present by ordering a product of his Amazon wish list. You should not use it on a Pegasos or an Efika. Starting with version 4.0 the USB-stack has not a keyfile but is only licenced for E3B-hardware.
