Jump'n Run: Box Edition of Santastic available after December 18th
Just in time for the holiday season, distributor K&A has published a physical box edition of the recently announced flip-screen jump 'n' run game "Santastic" by Polish developer Paul 'Tukinem' Tukatsch (amiga-news.de reported). The game will be shipped starting shortly after December 18.

In the Christmas-themed platform game "Santastic", players slip into Santa's boots, deliver presents, dodge obstacles such as snowmen and birds, and discover secret missions and a bonus level with sleighs and sparkling surprises.

The box (15x15x4 cm) costs just under ¤26 and contains a 3.5" floppy disk, digital versions including a PDF manual, a printed manual, a postcard, and stickers (while stocks last).

Santastic runs on any Amiga with a 68000 CPU and 1 MB of chip RAM (on A500 with 512 KB Chip + 512 KB Slow RAM without music) and supports both PAL and NTSC. (nba)

Screensaver: Amiga Boing Ball for Windows 10 and 11
The "Amiga Boing Ball Screensaver" for Windows 10 and 11 is available on GitHub, bringing the Amiga Boing Ball demo to modern PCs.

The original demo was created in 1984 to showcase the graphics and sound capabilities of the Amiga prototype and is considered one of the first true showpieces of the home computer generation of that time.

The Amiga Boing Ball Screensaver is available as source code, which interested users can convert into executable code (src file) using Visual Studio. Step-by-step instructions explain how to install it. (nba)

Snake conversion: Go! Go! Gold! (Mr. Moneyed wants MONEY!)
Following Press Fire PONG and Chaotic Crazy Castle, developer Alberto '(4)Seasons' Sgaggero has now released a game for the Amiga that he originally published for MSX in 2015, based on the classic Snake (video): Unlike the original, the player collects gold coins here, which does not make the character longer, but walls appear on the playing field that must not be touched. The game is written in AMOS Basic for the Amiga 500. (dr)
