APC&TCP: Collective order of a Pegasos mousepad
Today in the OnlineShop of APC&TCP the advance orders of a Pegasos mousepad has started (preview). The mousepad costs 7.20 Euro for advance orderers (later around 8 Euro) plus transport costs. The advance order will last until December 10th, 2004. After that the mousepad will be started to produce.

Certainly we can deliver it in the second January week. But we guess that we can deliver it much ealierer. (snx) (Translation: dr)

MorphZone and PPCZone Temporarily Unavailable Owing to Attack
MorphZone as well as PPCZone are temporarily not reachable, after an illicit attempt was made to use the server to send spam.

"MorphZone and PPCZone are both down temporarily while repairing a security breach on the server. This breach was part of a spammers attack in an attempt to proliferate SPAM specifically targeted to Internet users in Brazil. While we proceed to work on the cause of the problem, MorphZone and PPCZone will be unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and the administration of MorphZone hopes to have this cleared up soon.

At this time, we do not believe this attack was by or directed towards any Amiga, MorphOS, or other specific community. Due to the nature of the attack, which we have evidence to believe went to other unrelated servers, this seems to simply be a case of spammers trying to hijack our bandwidth to supply their endless need to send useless e-mail that no one ever reads anyway!"
