`27.Dec.2011` Ferrule Media (ANF)	Ferrule Media: AmigaOS 4 in commercial use The information channels Dental Kanal and Dental Info of Ferrule Media were developed with the help of Hollywood Designer and are used by private dentists as well as several public dental facilities. Furthermore the software is used by the Institut für klinische Zahnheilkunde of the university Bergen and is sold by Plandent which is one of the biggest European traders for dentistry in Denmark. In October 2011 Ferrule Media exhibited at the Nordental fair. There some Sam-systems with AmigaOS 4.1 were used (photo 1, 2, 3). Dental Kanal only runs on Sam-systems with AmigaOS 4 while Dental Info is available for Windows due to the development with Hollywood. The latest product, Dental Web, is used for creating websites for dental offices and partly was also developed with Hollywood Designer being able to convert contents of the Infokanal to AVI-files. `23.Oct.2011`	AmiWest 2011: Netbook for AmigaOS 4 announced (update) At the AmiWest, Steven Solie, who is Hyperion's project manager of the development of the operating system, has announced a PowerPC-netbook for AmigaOS 4. This 12"-netbook will be based on the e300-architecture and will be available at the end of the second quarter year 2012 for about 300 to 400 US Dollar. According to Steven Solie, AmigaOS 4 is already running on it but the drivers are still in development. Update: (12:16, 23.10.11) According to Ben Hermans there is already a hardware. The mentioned price includes the licence for AmigaOS 4. Hans-Jörg Frieden described the prototype of the OS-developer, but points out that the final product might be completely different.
