`17.Jul.2017` Amigaworld.net (Forum)	Cloanto: Transcripts of speeches on events (2014-2017) In the forum of Amigaworld.net, 'Tripos' transcribed three videos in English, in which Mike Battilana gives an insight into the work of Cloanto from now up to 1986. 'Tripos' was inspired by A Discourse on Possible Futures, recently published on cloanto.org, discussing "discuss possible futures involving open source, a nonprofit and/or foundation, and other long-term preservation scenarios for the legacy which we worked so passionately to keep alive". `09.Jul.2017` Amiga.org (Forum)	Trader: Amiga on the Lake agreed with A-EON Technology After a disagreement between the US American Amiga trader "Amiga on the Lake" (AOTL) and AmigaKit, which is the main distributor of the products of A-EON Technology, (amiga-news.de reported), under the title link Aaron Smith (AOTL) has announced an agreement. The press release still cannot be found on the website of A-EON Technology, but is confirmed by Amigaworld.net, which is said to be close to AmigaKit. According to the press release, AOTL was appointed by A-EON "as the lead distributor for all A-EON products in North America" which means "A-EON Technology will ensure that AOTL has a buffer stock of Cyrus+ motherboards to meet its North American customers demands for AmigaOne X5000 systems. In addition A-EON will supply software packs which will include the Enhancer Software Pack and the Personal Paint PowerPC boxed sets together with AmigaOS 4.1 registration cards. `31.May.2017`	US trader stopped cooperation with A-EON/Amigakit A message on the homepage of the webshop of the US trader "Amiga On The Lake" (AOTL), which was opened in September last year, informs, that they will "no longer support A-EON or AmigaKit in any way, shape or form." This step is not justified by the maintainer of the shop in any way. It is only refered to "experience during the last 8 months in regards to both companies." In many forums it is speculated, that the sudden termination of cooperation is related to the price setting of Amigakit: Actually three days ago before the publication of the message of AOTL, AmigaKit did offer X5000 full systems for the first time - this offer was not gone public by Amigakit itself but was reported by users. While Amigakit explained in a thread on amiga.org, that they will not comment any discussions with partner in public, at Amitopia some lines from a statement of Trevor Dicksinson were quoted: According to that, all traders - including Amigakit - are delivered by A-EON offering same conditions to all. Amigakit sells the systems for the price which A-EON recommends in adverts since last October for a basic system. Any webshop is free to offer systems to a higher price which are better equipped.
